Setting Up User Levels & Passwords for IQAN Programs
At different times, a variety of people will need to access your machine’s IQAN program, including making larger changes or simply to run tests and troubleshoot in the field. Establishing different access levels is not only important for safeguarding all of the program’s logic, but also minimizes user confusion and keeps everything running more smoothly. Within IQAN by Parker Hannifin, you are able to set up many different user levels and even determine what functions or changes can be made at each level. You can also set up different kids of passwords so that people with different purposes can see information that’s pertinent to them, while also protects your program from accidental changes or other mistakes. In this video, we look at how to set up those different access levels, change their hierarchy, and set up different kinds of passwords in IQAN Design.
