Using a Timer Function in IQAN Design

In our IQAN University video series, we’ve walked through all of the essential tools and functions of numerous IQAN programs, including IQAN Design, Simulate, Run, & Analyze. In this episode we look at how to implement a timer function block in IQAN Design. There are numerous reasons why you would want to utilize a timer, including keeping track of engine hours or requiring a delay between different events, to name a few. In the video below, we walk through adding a timer in IQAN Design and setting all of it’s parameters.

In the next episode, we will take an even closer look at Internal Digital Channels and how you can utilize those to activate and block functions when predetermined conditions, including timers, are met.
