Need an extremely durable rotary sensor for challenging environments? Take a serious look at the HP58 Hockey Puck Non-contact Rotary Position Sensor, Joral’s original hockey-puck shaped true non-contact encoder. More than shape, it’s what’s inside that makes this 58mm device the perfect fit for harsh duty applications. This fully encapsulated rugged product offers an IP69k (connector dependent) rating, Surge protectors for every input/output, reverse voltage protection provided against mis-wiring and Internal auto-resettable fuse for extreme protection.
Plus the HP58 features Joral’s ground breaking non-contact performance: The unmatched .5” sensor to target gap, 0.10” (2.5mm) center alignment and 30-degree planar tilt. LED indicators are prominently displayed for power and output feedback. Mounting holes and a convenient servo groove are also standards. The standard housing material is black Derlin, but aluminum and stainless-steel options are readily available.
The output choices include: Quadrature, J1939, Analog – Voltage Output, Analog, PWM and SSI. The connectors offered include Pluggable Terminal Block, Wire Insertion Terminal, M8 – Male, M12 – Male, M12 – Pigtail – Male, Flying Lead Cable, Shielded Flying Lead Cable, Deutsch 4 – Pin, Deutsch 6 – Pin.
