Coolers
Cooling What You Power.
Coolers for hydraulic fluids normally use either water or air as the heat transfer medium. These two types are often referred to as oil-to-water and oil-to-air coolers.
A cooler is required when the heat generation rate of a system, (from either internal or external sources), exceed the heat dissipation rate from the reservoir, piping, and the hardware. In some applications, a heater may be required to raise the fluid to a required (minimum) temperature before start-up, to prevent freezing or separation of water-containing fluids, or to assist in maintaining the acceptable operating temperature when the system is exposed to extremely cold temperatures.
While both water-cooled and air-cooled heat exchangers have their share of benefits, it’s important to choose the type that best fits your specific circumstances and budget. Water-cooled oil coolers are more expensive, but they carry out far more applications than air-cooled oil coolers. On the other hand, air-cooled oil coolers, while not as versatile, are more economical and efficient, and they are gaining ground on their water-cooled brethren as a result.
GS Global Resources offers high-efficiency, compact, cost-effective cooling solutions to meet your mobile and industrial heat dissipation requirements. We offer a wide variety of coolers from well-known brands all with unique performance characteristics which are designed for superior, efficient system performance. Standard catalog products are available with a short lead-time. Our coolers can easily be integrated within one of our cab systems to provide safety and efficiency to your machine.
